The Challenge: From start-up venture to commercial success, we assisted Orange County-based HairStyle Illusions with the graphic design and marketing of their cutting-edge mall photo booth, which uses the same digital technology as Kodak and commercial hair salons. The identity and sales literature was directed at entrepreneurs and mall business owners interested in leasing or buying several booths as income generators. The screen graphics and booth itself were designed to appeal to the tastes of 12-16 year old female users.
The Solution: We created a B2B logo design as well as a bilingual poster design, custom designed curtain backdrop, electronic "fun photo frames" for use in the photo software interface and sourced volume vendors for all exterior graphics and curtains. After creating the first prototype kiosk, photos were taken and a sales flyer was created for tradeshow use. The product has been an international success ever since.
