The Challenge: Create multi-use point-of-purchase displays to highlight Souplantation's seasonal menu changes.
The Solution: Clear triangular labels were designed to be placed above the serving dish of each new menu item. The design of the 3-foot triangular hanging posters involved several components. The displays were to be used twice, for two weeks at a time separated by several months. Since we could not showcase any one specific dish, we chose to photograph chef's implements along with fresh ingredients, framed to support our creative headline, "new menu creations now on exhibit". The displays were printed 4-color process, and laminated to chipboard. The printer was Partner Press, who also provided boxes, bubble-wrap and hand-packaging services for shipment of posters to 50 different stores, along with string, i-beam brackets and hanging instructions. To support the new menu item roll-out, we used the same photo and headline in the design of a national consumer print advertising campaign.
