Beach Themed Logo Design for a Unique Auto Repair Facility

The Challenge: After completing a recent round of staff training, Moonlight Motors Auto Repair was ready to reposition their business to better appeal to hybrid owners as well as customers near their Moonlight Beach location.

The Solution: To complement the retro 50s style waiting area, we designed a beach themed logo design. The initial drafts were unveiled at a garden party where the client’s advisors gave input. Our team remained cool as everyone picked their favorites. We left and after an unknown amount of adult beverages the logo direction was selected — luckily it was our favorite version! A variety of different font styles and color schemes were reviewed leading up to final design approval. To ensure the logo would be reproduced correctly by the clients other vendors, we provided a collection of digital files and a guide to explain which files to use for various applications. Large dimensional signs in the shape of the logo were created to be held in the hands of a large promotional statue. Additional assignments for this client included design of seasonal direct mail flyers.
