Email Marketing for Seafood Distributor

Product alerts delivered with humor by a working chef have made Paddy’s Market Watch one of Santa Monica Seafood’s primary customer publications, with an engaged customer list and long history as a printed flyer. After emailing versions of the flyers for years using legacy tools, the client needed a more flexible email marketing system. We created a simple email design including a simple masthead with a bold masculine font and wood-grain texture. A simple and clean two-column layout was selected. A second email template was created to support more generic communications. We helped select an email provider, set up the campaigns and lists, trained internal staff, and provided analytics analysis and recommendations on raising email open rates.

Facebook Page for Seafood Distributor

After we helped them launch a website, Twitter account and blog, the client was ready to start building an audience on Facebook. We designed and created the page, designed a custom landing page graphic and added the tab using FBML. We suggested a variety of website content for the client to post, as well as assisting with strategy for post timing, style and frequency.

With two seafood markets in Southern California, the client wanted to start engaging with their local customers using social media. We designed and created a Facebook page with two custom tabs, one for new visitors offering a variety of popular content, and a second for the cafe menu. We provide ongoing social media management for the page in support and conjunction with their staff.

After listening carefully to the client’s long-term marketing goals, we suggested several social media platforms be established, starting with Twitter. We designed a Twitter background and made the account colors consistent with the client’s web design and branding. We suggested tools and existing website content that could be posted to the account. We manage the account in conjunction with their staff. Once the company blog was live we added /blog to the profile’s website link to encourage subscriptions.
